Coronavirus deaths higher than swine flu

However, from the pandemic H1N1 flu, better known in Ukraine as swine flu, at the end of the pandemic, which lasted more than a year (from March-April 2009 to August 2010, when the pandemic was announced, – ed.) 18 were killed thousand 449 people. The greatest number of victims was in America – more than 8.5 thousand people and in Europe – more than 4.8 thousand people.

Most deaths were recorded in Italy – more than 6.8 thousand people and China, where the outbreak of a new virus was first recorded – more than 3.1 thousand people.
