Quarantine will affect the entire population of India – 1.3 billion people live in the country. The number of infections in India, according to recent data, is 536 people, 10 of them have died.
In total, more than 420 thousand people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide.
In Russia, the number of infected people approached 500. On Tuesday, the Moscow Department of Health approved an algorithm for treating patients with coronavirus, which involves home treatment for mild cases of the disease.
In addition, the Russian coronavirus operations headquarters has proposed new measures to combat the spread of infection. In particular, regional governors were asked to close nightclubs, movie theaters, and hookahs.
On the eve of Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Medical center in Kommunark, where patients with suspected coronavirus are located. Before entering the closed unit, Putin put on a yellow protective overalls and a black mask, after which he talked with patients.

In Russia, 57 new cases of coronavirus were registered per day, thus the total number of cases in the country amounted to 495 people. According to the operational headquarters, all the sick went abroad.
Of the 57 new cases, 28 were registered in Moscow. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin at a meeting with Vladimir Putin asked him to take tough measures to stop the spread of the virus.
Sobyanin also noted that the condition of two patients in Moscow is assessed as serious, eight more – as moderate.
