The first death from a new coronavirus infection was recorded in Brunei: a 64-year-old man who fell ill almost three weeks ago died.

COVID-19 killed a 64-year-old local resident. The test confirmed the disease on March 12. The man returned from a trip to Cambodia on March 4, and within four days he had the first symptoms. For more than ten days the patient was in the intensive care unit, but died.
It is noted that the man was 25 people in Brunei who discovered a coronavirus. In total, 115 cases of the disease were detected in the country, 11 people recovered.

In China itself, it was previously called NCP (Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia), which means pneumonia, which is caused by a new type of coronavirus. On the evening of March 12 two more cases of coronavirus infection officially confirmed in Ukraine. Infections were recorded in the Chernivtsi and Zhytomyr regions. A woman from the Zhytomyr region died of infection, becoming the first victim of COVID-19 in Ukraine. In the Chernivtsi region March 16 laboratory two more cases were confirmed infection with a new coronavirus and this figure continued to grow. The first patient from Chernivtsi successfully recovered and was discharged from hospital.
