The Altai Republic has suspended regular flights with Moscow to prevent the spread of coronavirus. About it reported on the website of the regional authorities.
“Since April 1, Pobeda Airlines has suspended flights; today S7 flights have been canceled,” said Oleg Khorokhordin, head of the region.
According to authorities, flights within the republic have been preserved, as well as to a number of cities in the Siberian Federal District. The administration noted that Pobeda suspended flights within Russia until May 31, and S7 airline – until April 23.
In Russia, more than 5 thousand cases of infection with coronavirus were detected, 45 people died. In the Republic of Altai, not a single case of infection was detected. However, in the region until April 30, a self-isolation regime is in effect.
