Hospitals in the Ivano-Frankivsk region are soon receiving medications used to treat coronavirus.

This was discussed during a press conference on April 8 in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, writes “Galka”.
The head of the Coronavirus Information and Analytical Center in Ivano-Frankivsk region, infectious diseases doctor Natalia Demina, said that medicines used for the treatment of COVID-19 will be distributed soon between medical institutions.
“The Carpathian region has received the medicines that are used in the treatment of coronavirus, they will be distributed today among the reference hospitals. The drug they have is hydroxychloroquine. These drugs do not have 100% scientific evidence base, they have serious side effects. I emphasize that they cannot be used at home. The medication is used only in the course of the disease of moderate severity and in difficult cases. The drug is selected individually according to associated pathologies. Do not self-medicate so that you do not cause trouble, ”Demina says.
She emphasizes that doctors in the treatment of patients are guided by an appropriate order from the Ministry of Health.
We will remind, now in the Ivano-Frankivsk region the number of patients with COVID-19 has increased to 198, 13 Carpathians have died, in particular four cases have been confirmed for the last day.
