It took 34 days for the neighbor to recover from Covid-19

Sausima deputy Artuss Kaimiņš spent 34 days in quarantine at home after being infected with Covid-19, until finally his tests for the disease were negative, the deputy himself announced on social networks.

A neighbor has indicated that he is also included in an experimental program that monitors antibodies in the blood to create a vaccine.

“We meet in the corridors and streets of the government, observing the set distance, of course,” said Kaimiņš, after whom all the deputies of the Saeima and a large part of the government had to go into self-isolation with Covid-19, thus the meetings of these institutions began to take place remotely.

Meanwhile, Jānis Hermanis, an expert of the Latvian Employers’ Confederation and an enthusiast of statistical data, has compiled data on the number of Covid-19 cases registered in Latvia by time since the positive test. Information on his social networks shows that by yesterday, 28% of the registered Covid-19 cases had been more than 30 days since the positive test, 20% 25 to 29 days, 17% 20 to 24 days, 10% 15 to 15 days. 19 days, about 9% – 10 to 14 days.

LETA has already reported that Neighbor announced the disease of Covid-19 on social networks on March 21. At that time, he pointed out that since March 17, he had isolated himself due to feeling unwell. “I apologize to everyone I met on March 15 and 16 and call and ask them to check!” writes the deputy.

After Neighbor’s illness with Covid-19, the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control examined all parliamentarians and other parliamentary employees, ministers, but none of them tested positive.
