Sausima deputy Artuss Kaimiņš spent 34 days in quarantine at home after being infected with Covid-19, until finally his tests for the disease were negative, the deputy himself announced on social networks.
“We meet in the corridors and streets of the government, observing the set distance, of course,” said Kaimiņš, after whom all the deputies of the Saeima and a large part of the government had to go into self-isolation with Covid-19, thus the meetings of these institutions began to take place remotely.
Meanwhile, Jānis Hermanis, an expert of the Latvian Employers’ Confederation and an enthusiast of statistical data, has compiled data on the number of Covid-19 cases registered in Latvia by time since the positive test.
