Coronavirus disease in Ukraine to decline in May – University of Singapore forecast – Coronavirus

The decline in the disease in Ukraine is due in May.

In two months Ukraine will completely win new COVID-19 coronavirus, and the whole world – only for half a year, at the beginning of December.

Probable timing of the end of the pandemic was modeled by a team of scientists from the University of Singapore Data-Driven Development Lab.

The study covers 87 countries, including Ukraine. Scientists are convinced that the incidence in Ukraine will decline in the coming days (given the data as of April 27). By May 17, 97% of those infected must recover, by May 20 – 99%, and all 100% by July 2.

In the whole world, the situation will last for another half a year: by May 30, 97% have to recover and 100% by December 1.

This data is updated daily, so schedules are dynamic. During the forecasting, the SIR model created takes into account the infected and recovered data at separate intervals. Intensity of contacts between people is also taken into account.
