In Crimea (excluding Sevastopol), a woman who had previously been diagnosed with coronavirus died in a Saki district hospital. About this at a meeting of the regional operational headquarters reported Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya.
A patient born in 1950 died on the eve of May 4, Romanovskaya clarified. The woman had concomitant diseases that led to complications, the prime minister said. According to her, the deceased suffered from coronary heart disease, diabetes, obesity and hypertension.
On April 30, a woman was admitted to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of right-sided pneumonia. On the same day, she was connected to an artificial lung ventilation (IVL) device. Coronavirus was detected on May 2.
“Previously, we say that, most likely, this is the first death [в Республике Крым], which occurred in this case as a result of infection with a coronavirus infection, ”said the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksenov.
