The number of patients with COVID-19 patients has increased in Sevastopol


By the morning of May 14, two new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Sevastopol. This was reported in the press service of the Russian city government.

“Patients were in contact with previously ill and were observed as part of an epidemiological investigation,” the information said.

It is indicated that in the infectious diseases hospital 85 people are being monitored, in the city hospital No. 9 – 94. 741 people are being monitored at the place of residence.

According to the authorities, by May 14, 22 people had been discharged from Sevastopol hospitals, since the beginning of the year, 132 people had contracted a new coronavirus infection in the city, 57 people recovered, 2 people died.

In the observer mode, the Izumrud boarding house, as well as the construction sites of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Omega Bay and Belbek, continue to operate in the city.

In Crimea over the past day registered six new cases of coronavirus infection.

To date, 245 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Crimea. 24 of them were imported from abroad, 21 from Russia, 84 people recovered over the entire period. Two died, two still did not determine the cause of death, but they were previously diagnosed with COVID-19.
