At the moment, negotiations on the resumption of air travel with only one of the resort countries have been completed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is negotiating with several countries on the opening of air links. Among them are Turkey, Greece and Spain, reported on Friday, June 5, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on the air 1 + 1.
“We plan to open flights on June 15, but of course we can open, but our partners need to open too. Therefore, we are now negotiating with countries so that they open for us and so that our planes can already have regular flights” – said Kuleba.
According to him, negotiations with Turkey have already been completed.
“We have already talked with Turkey, and she is ready to receive Ukrainian tourists. We are working with Greece, with Spain. That is, with the countries that are most popular among Ukrainians,” the minister said.
At the same time, he noted that the situation in Spain is very complicated: they planned to open up for neighbors – France and Portugal – but “the situation there is not a simple pandemiological situation, so they postponed the discovery.”
“But we proceed from the fact that in general for the second half of June, countries will decide on when and under what conditions to open,” the minister said, expressing hope for a gradual resumption of flights already in July-August.
Recall flights with Turkey will resume from June 15. Tickets for flights from Ukraine have already appeared on sale.
