05:26 – V Turkey 1562 cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection were confirmed on Sunday, the highest daily increase in the country since mid-May. A total of 178,239 coronavirus infections were confirmed in Turkey, which has a population of 83 million, of which 4,807 died.
04:55 – A new type of coronavirus has been detected in 10,024 people in the Czech Republic. 7226 of them were cured, ie about 72 percent, and 329 people died with the disease. There are currently 2469 patients, the course of the infection is mostly mild. 117 patients remain in hospitals, 11 of them in severe condition. The latest death from coronavirus-induced covid-19 lung disease is from Friday, with no more over the weekend.

Both daily increases are lower than the day before, when the ministry reported 892 deaths with covid-19 per day and 21,704 new infections. A total of 867,624 cases of Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus infection have already been confirmed in Brazil, the largest country in Latin America with a population of 210 million. This is the second highest number in the world after the United States.
04:30 – Simpler rules for traveling around Europe will apply from Monday. Apart from trips from the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland, Portugal and Sweden, Czechs will no longer have to prove a negative coronavirus test when returning home. The borders of the Czech Republic are largely open to foreigners as well. The release of travel has so far affected EU countries, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland. The Union’s external borders remain closed for the time being.
