“I appealed to law enforcement agencies, in particular to the SBU and the police, to strengthen security measures in the capital. To make the people of Kiev feel protected,” Klitschko said, adding that this is about patrolling in the capital, more effective preventive work, detention and prosecution criminals.

“We see what is happening, especially in recent days, both in the country and in the capital. We have daily reports of dozens of mines. And not all of them, unfortunately, turn out to be false. They are burning houses and cars,” said the mayor , adding that he believes that “they are trying to destabilize the situation in the country and in the city.”

“This must not be allowed! Security is one of the most important issues today,” said Klitschko, thanking the people of Kiev who see suspicious objects in public places and report it to the police.
