More than 280 patients with COVID-19 remain in hospitals in Kyiv, – Klitschko – Espresso TV news

                                <p>This was announced by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko at a briefing, reports Espresso.TV.

“Friends! The number of Kyiv residents who have been diagnosed with coronavirus over the past day has increased by another 118 people. One person has died,” the mayor said.

To date, the capital has 7,396 confirmed cases of COVID-19.


  • 52 women aged 18 to 84 years
  • 57 men aged 18 to 69 years
  • 7 girls from 1 year to 16 and 2 boys aged 9 months and 1 year.

“Thirteen patients were hospitalized in the capital’s hospitals. The others are in self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors. Over the past day, 121 people have recovered. A total of 2,667 Kyiv residents have recovered from the coronavirus,” Klitschko said.

The highest number of cases was detected in Darnytskyi district – 27. In Desnyanskyi district – 16. And in Sviatoshynskyi, Solomyanskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts – 12 cases each.

Today there are 283 patients diagnosed with coronavirus in the capital’s hospitals. 19 of them are children. 45 patients are in serious condition. 2 people are connected to ventilators. Another 38 patients are in medical institutions with suspected coronavirus.
