Covid-19: How much money was given to Achaia to support employees and businesses

The amount of money allocated to Achaia by the Ministry of Finance through the three Public Financial Services (A ‘Patras, C’ Patras, Aigio) until 43 July 2020 amounts to 43,947,793 euros, in order to support employees and companies from the suspension. their activity due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The financial data are total and categorized by Tax Office and are separated depending on whether they are special purpose allowances (1 and 2) and repayable advance (1 and 2), as reported by the newspaper Peloponnese.

The 43,947,793 correspond to 13,571 tax registration numbers (AFM) in Achaia. Per tax office are as follows:

A ‘Patras: 3,504 VAT and 17,132,034 euros.
C ‘Patras: 7,457 VAT and 26,815,759 euros.
Aigio: 2,610 VAT and 7,065,329 euros.

The amounts given as “special purpose 1” compensation (800 euros) are distributed per tax office as follows:

A ‘Patras: 3,179 VAT and 2,543,200 euros.
C ‘Patras: 6,969 VAT and 5,575,200 euros.
Aigio: 2,477 VAT and 1,981,600 euros.

The amounts of money given as “special purpose 2” compensation (300 – 534 euros) are distributed per tax office as follows:

A ‘Patras: 1,390 VAT and 588,756 euros.
C ‘Patras: 2,369 VAT and 1,018,644 euros.
Aigio: 1,167 VAT and 519,282 euros.

The amounts allocated per tax office for the “repayable advance 1” are as follows:

A ‘Patras: 583 VAT and 5,557,958.89 euros.
C ‘Patras: 833 VAT and 7,248,918.11 euros.
Aigio: 266 VAT and 1,732,929.01 euros.

The amounts allocated per tax office for the “repayable advance 2” are as follows:

A ‘Patras: 920 VAT and 8,442,119.47 euros.
C ‘Patras: 1,666 VAT and 12,972,996.52 euros.
Aigio: 504 VAT and 2,831,517.61 euros.
