Covid-19: Strict restrictions renewed in the Philippines – Abroad – News


In Manila and four surrounding provinces, public transportation has been suspended, government agencies and private companies closed.

For the next 15 days, people in these areas must stay at home and it is forbidden to gather more than five people.

According to data released by the Philippine Ministry of Health on Monday, 106,330 people in the Philippines have been infected with the new coronavirus, of whom 2,104 have died from the disease caused by the virus, Covid-19.

Since the government began in June to ease restrictions on the new coronavirus, the number of cases has risen.

Doctors and other health care workers have called on the government to review its policy against Covid-19 to prevent the situation from deteriorating further.
