The Department of Defense plans to use dogs to detect the coronavirus. Previously, a German study has already shown that dogs can indeed do that. In addition to explosives, some of the dogs from Defense will therefore be trained to also detect the virus. This technique would be faster and as efficient as the PCR tests.
