The number of asymptomatic cases of coronavirus in Moscow reaches 60%, the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin said at a meeting of the government council on combating coronavirus, Interfax reports. According to him, this can be found out with the help of a large number of tests. “We see that the number of asymptomatic patients is quite large – about 60%,” Sobyanin said, noting that this is much more than in other regions. According to him, a large volume of testing has been organized in Moscow, including by free registration. They are carried out both for the presence of COVID-19 and for the presence of antibodies to it. As noted by Vedomosti, at the end of July Sobyanin said that Moscow is at the minimum level in terms of the incidence of COVID-19. The indicators, according to the mayor, are unlikely to fall below. From the peak of the incidence to the present day, the volume of detected new cases of infection has decreased 10 times. In Moscow, according to the headquarters on August 10, 694 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered, the total number of cases in the city reached 248,228. During the day 898 people recovered, 13 died. The total number of those who recovered was 190,555, the deaths – 4,585.
