Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, they were registered 1,415 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID-19)

Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 611 people were reconfirmed positively.

To date, 2,904 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 13.08.2020 (10:00) – 14.08.2020 (10:00) were registered 44 deaths (29 men and 15 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeş, Bacău, Botoşani , Braşov, Caraş – Severin, Cluj, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Timiş, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.

Of these, one death was recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 5 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 4 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 13 deaths in the age category 60-69 years , 13 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 8 deaths in the category over 80 years.

43 of the registered deaths were of some patients who presented comorbidities, and 1 deceased patient did not present comorbidities.

In the health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,431. Of these, 473 are hospitalized at ATI.

To date, 1,478,056 tests have been processed at the national level. Of these, 22,914 were performed in the last 24 hours, 13,439 based on the case definition and the medical protocol, and 9,475 on request. Also, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 4,873 tests processed before the last 24 hours and transmitted until August 14 have been reported.

In Romania, 8,799 people confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 5,179 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 24,859 people are in quarantine at home, and 77 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, they were registered 1,454 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test.

To date, on August 13, in Romania, 66,631 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed. 31,547 patients were declared cured and 7,253 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

To date, 2,860 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.

Between 12.08.2020 (10:00) – 13.08.2020 (10:00) were registered 53 deaths (32 men and 21 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş , Bacău, Bihor, Botoşani, Brăila, Buzău, Caraş – Severin, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiş, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea and Municip Bucharest.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 1 death in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 13 deaths in the age category 60-69 years , 24 deaths in the age group 70-79 years and 11 deaths in the category over 80 years.

49 of the registered deaths were of patients who presented with comorbidities, and 4 patients who died did not present with comorbidities.

In the specialized health units, the total number of persons hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,437. Of these, 478 are hospitalized at ATI.

To date, 1,450,269 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 22,649 were performed in the last 24 hours, 13,999 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 8,650 on request.

In Romania, 7,935 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 5,421 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 20,775 people are in quarantine at home, and 101 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
