BUCHAREST, August 14 – Sputnik. According to today’s GCS bulletin, 31,920 patients were declared cured and 7,497 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1,415 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
To date, 2,904 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died, according to the official bulletin, between 13.08.2020 (10:00) – 14.08.2020 (10:00) with 44 deaths, of which 29 men and 15 women.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 5 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 4 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 13 deaths in the age category 60-69 years , 13 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 8 deaths in the category over 80 years.
43 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, and 1 deceased patient did not present comorbidities, it is also shown in the GCS bulletin.
In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7,431, and of these, 473 are hospitalized at ATI.
To date, 1,478,056 tests have been processed at the national level, according to GCS, of which 22,914 have been performed in the last 24 hours, 13,439 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 9,475 on request. Also, since the last information made by GCS, the results of 4,873 tests processed before the last 24 hours and submitted by August 14 have been reported.
In Romania, 8,799 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 5,179 people are in institutionalized isolation, 24,859 people are in quarantine at home, and 77 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
Also in the last 24 hours, the police and the gendarmes applied 1059 sanctions, amounting to 336,975 lei and 5 crimes were found to thwart the fight against diseases.
