In Kyiv oblast, 52 cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed per day.

As Ukrinform reports, this was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Facebook.

“According to the Kyiv Regional Laboratory Center, 4429 cases of coronavirus were officially confirmed in the region on August 14, 2020 at 10:00. Including 386 children and 646 medical workers,” the statement said.

During the day, 52 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were confirmed, including 2 children aged 8 years (Fastiv) and 17 years (Belogorodka village, Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi district) and 50 adults.

Of these, 3 patients are hospitalized and are in hospital, the other 49 people are in isolation (under medical supervision).

During the whole period of the epidemic, out of the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19, 770 patients were hospitalized and were (were) hospitalized, and 3659 people were hospitalized (under medical supervision).

Only 3047 people recovered, including 266 children aged 1 month. up to 17 years. During the reporting day, 3 people recovered, including 1 child (Vasylkiv district – 3) (Kovalivka village).

A total of 76 patients with confirmed COVID-19 died during the epidemic in Kyiv region.

Over the past 24hrs, there have been reports of four deaths among patients with confirmed COVID-19 (two women, 69 years old, a resident of the village of Motovylivka, Fastiv district, and 61 years old, the village of Zavalivka, Makariv district, two men, 48 years old from Fastiv) and 62 years from the village of Makariv).

During the period from March 14, 2020, the Kyiv Regional Laboratory Center received a total of 7,849 reports of suspicion of COVID-19. Over the past 24hrs, we have received 61 reports of suspicion.

Medical surveillance was established for 14088 contact persons.

As reported, as of August 14, 87,872 cases of COVID-19 were laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, of which 1,732 per day.
