Data on preclinical and clinical trials of a domestic vaccine against coronavirus will soon be published. This was promised by the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko, reports RIA Novosti.

“In the coming days, possibly by Monday,” he said, adding that research will continue.

According to the minister, the drug is now being criticized for allegedly not receiving enough information during testing. Murashko noted that “the vaccine has been released on a platform on which six products have already been made.”

Formerly Mikhail Murashko spokethat the Russian vaccine is being criticized for fear of competition. He is confident that the vaccine has been shown to be safe and highly effective.

On August 11, President Vladimir Putin announced the registration of the world’s first COVID-19 vaccine, Sputnik V, in the country. The release of the drug will begin during August, the first to be vaccinated by doctors. It will enter civil circulation in January 2021. It is assumed that after vaccination, a person will develop immunity to the virus for about two years.

Some representatives of Western countries questioned the effectiveness and safety of the development, pointing to the insufficient number of trials. The World Health Organization (WHO) intends to check research data. To get vaccinated among Russian doctors so far ready only every fourth.
