The WHO has denied the possibility of coronavirus infection through food

The World Health Organization has said that people should not be afraid to catch Covid-19 through food, as such cases are not currently known.

About this reports Radio Liberty with reference to the head of the WHO emergency program Mike Ryan.

According to him, it is not necessary to spread panic and frighten people by the fact that people became infected through frozen food on which they found the virus, as such cases are not currently known.

“People should not be afraid of food, food packaging, processing or food delivery,” he said.

Ryan stressed that there is currently no evidence that food or the food chain is involved in the transmission of the virus.
