Patriarch Filaret received a negative COVID-19 test result after hospital treatment.
This was reported by the press service of the UOC-Kyiv Patriarchate on Wednesday, September 16.
According to the report, now Patriarch Filaret is feeling well. He has already been discharged from the hospital and is in his residence in the Kyiv Patriarchate. He thanked the doctors and medical staff who treated him and now continue to help other patients.
We will remind, on September 4 it became known that one of leaders of the Ukrainian Orthodoxy patriarch Filaret fell ill with COVID-19 and is in hospital.
Later, the press service of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate said that Filaret was diagnosed with pneumonia.
It should be noted that this week it was also reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak had recovered from the coronavirus.
