The game of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) between Riga “Dinamo” and Nursultan “Barys” could be postponed due to the coronavirus in the nomination of the Kazakh unit, reports the Russian media “Championat”.

Sources say that KHL will postpone the regular championship game between “Barys” and Riga “Dinamo”, which is scheduled for September 18. The reason for postponing the game is the presence of a coronavirus in the Nursultan Club nominee. “Barys will most likely have to act in the same way as Jokerit, ie he will have to take two weeks of forced leave,” the media writes.

“According to the information provided to us, a final decision has not yet been made. But if the Kazakh team is quarantined, then the next six team matches are in danger of being postponed, ”the source said.

“Dinamo” against “Barys” are expected to conclude three games. The duel should start tomorrow at 14:00. Riga hockey players started the season by fighting directly against “Barys”, when they lost 2: 3 on their field.

“Dinamo” was also unable to play a home game last Friday against Nizhnekamsk’s “Neftekhimik”, because four guests from Russia, shortly after arriving in Latvia, were diagnosed with Covid-19. This fight has been postponed indefinitely.
