People with coronavirus will vote at home in local elections

Health Minister Maxim Stepanov told how they will vote in local elections people who have confirmed the coronavirus. A citizen must apply to the territorial election commission.

He stated this at a briefing.

Stepanov noted that casting one’s vote in elections is a constitutional human right.

“If a person with COVID-19, he should accordingly apply to the territorial election commission, if his memory serves, then until 20:00 on the last Friday on the eve of the vote and leave his statement that he can vote at home for illness“, – he said.

After that, on the day of voting, a commission will come to the person’s home so that he can vote.

Recall The CEC will not restrict the access of voters with signs of SARS to voting.

Note, the NSDC is developing a special protocol of action in case of outbreaks of coronavirus at polling stations.
